1955 Buick Roadmaster Convertible                                                                            Buick Roadmaster Convertible having adopted General Motors new C bodies in 1954 the top of the line Roadmaster received a face-and tail-lift for 1955 with a fresh screen-mesh grille, tall, bold taillights and gold-colored ornaments. 1955 was a year of great color, and Buick was an eager participant, using the body-side Riviera spear, first seen in 1949, as a separation for two-tone schemes.  The year 1955 was magic for most American automakers, and Buick was no exception, industry sales reached nearly eight million cars, a record.  There were 738,814 Buicks built nearly 60 percent better than 1954, the Roadmaster convertible production was a scant 4,732.   It is finished in two tone Seminole Red over Dover White and a White convertible top, the interior is Red and White leather that will take your breath away.  It is powered by the original motor a 322ci nail head and driven by the proven Dyno Flo automatic transmission which produces smooth powerful performance.  It is fully optioned with power steering and brakes, power windows, power seat, power top and much more.
